Annapurna Base Camp

Known as one the top 10 trekking region of the world, Annapurna Base camp trek is undoubtedly the most intensely scenic trekking route. The 12-days trail takes you into the heart of Annapurna range passing through huge hills in the gurung country with astonishing views of mountains ahead.  Starting from Phedi (45mins drive from Pokhara), the trail ascends the wooden ridge of Dhampus with a view of the mountains including the ‘fishtail’, dense rhododendron forest and ultimately to the bases of two highest mountains: Annapurna I and Macchapuchre.

Trek Itinerary  

Day 01:   After breakfast, drive from Pokhara to Phedi and trek to Dhampus (1814m). (L, D)
Day 02:   Trek from Dhampus to Tolka (1638m). (B, L, D)
Day 03:   Trek from Tolka to Jhinu (2230m). (B, L, D)
Day 04:   Trek from Jhinu to Chomrong (2900,). (B, L, D)
Day 05:   Trek from Chomrong to Himalayan Hotel (3100m). (B, L, D)
Day 06:   Trek from Himalayn Hotel to Deurali (3200m). (B, L, D)
Day 07:   Trek from Deurali to Macchapuchhre Base camp (3720m). (B, L, D)
Day 08:   Hike to Annapurna Base Camp and return to Deurali. (B, L, D)
Day 09:   Trek down from Deurali to Himalaya hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 10:   Trek down from Himalaya Hotel to Chomrong. (B, L, D)
Day 11:   Trek Chomrong to Ghandrung (1980m). (B, L, D)
Day 12:   Trek Ghandruk to Naya pool and drive back to Pokhara. (B, L)
