By Land

Nepal, being a landlocked country, there is no sea connections with the neighboring countries but is connected broadly by land. There are 5 centers from which you can come to Nepal via India. Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Mahendranagar, Biratnagar and Sunauli ave the immigration points where you can stamped the visa of Nepal while traveling via India. Kodari is the only point connecting Nepal to Tibet and ultimately to China. Traveling by land, though a lengthy option, can be a good deal if you want to see the terraced hills, flatland Terai, snowcapped mountains and subtropical forests on the way.
